GENERAL CLERK / MAILROOM SERVICES (DA) - On Call

• This is an on call position
• Staring pay is $20.12 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide courteous, fast and efficient service in all phases of the mail room duties
• Accurately sorting, logging in, tracking, picking up, and delivering the mail
• Provide all mail services according to contract requirements
  
  
  
  • Experience with the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS preferred
  
  
  
  
• Receive, sort and dispatch mail to centralized locations
• Pick up outgoing mail
• Maintain chain of custody log books
• Meter all outgoing mail
• Deliver outgoing mail for processing
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pre-employment criminal background checks, government security clearance checks, and drug testing are required for this position
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government Security Clearance
• Must be able to stand/walk 80% of the time
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and or pull 50 lbs
• Must be able to read, speak, hear and see
• All of these requirements are necessary in order to properly accomplish all essential functions within this job description
• Must be able to work independently and follow direction with little supervision
