Ai became a certified B Corporation in December of 2010 to share our commitment to using the power of business to solve social problems and provide public benefit. To maintain our certification as a B Corporation, we must maintain rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. As a B Corporation, our organization is committed to more than just our bottom line – we are passionate about improving healthcare IT across the country, and our employees find fulfillment in helping others.
Being one of the first recognized B Corporations in Maryland, Ai is accustomed to paving the way and leading by example. In 2013, Ai was the first of its kind to provide notifications to doctors when their patients get admitted or discharged from hospitals (through our care coordination tool – Encounter Notification Service® (ENS®), and each day our team works to build on that momentum.

- Cell Phone Reimbursement: We’ll reimburse up to $80 per month for your cell phone bill, if you use it for Ai business.
- Flexible Schedules: We’re more concerned with results than whether you’re sitting at your desk from 9:00 to 5:00 every day. We’ll work with you to determine the schedule that works best for you and your team!
- Professional Development: If you invest your time in job-related training, even if it’s not directly required for your current position, we’ll invest in you by covering the cost. We may also be able to assist with the cost of formal education on a case-by-case basis.
- BW Tech Park Resources: Ai’s location in the bwtech@UMBC Research Park allows us to take advantage of many of UMBC’s facilities, including the fitness center, library, child care, shuttles, and more.
