Minimum Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's degree in plant breeding, agronomy, plant sciences or related field with at least one year experience in applied plant breeding or closely related field

Department Required Skills

  • Experience in field plot research and experimental design
  • Experience with large farm equipment
  • Ability to drive a truck and trailer
  • Competency with loading, hauling and unloading plot research equipment

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • Experience in planting wheat and oats
  • Experience in small grains breeding

Required License or Certification
  • Valid driver's license
