Procurement Specialist

Position Description:


Ryerson has an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist. As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for procurement and management of service center inventory levels to meet availability supply goals and demands.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Manage inventory for multiple locations for MRP requirements to prescribed financial targets
* Manage inventory requirements for contract business including integration with sales team.
* Develop sourcing of materials for client specific requirements in a timely manner
* Administration of data tables used in the automation of purchasing activities
* Manage all aspects of sourcing including maintenance of purchasing documents and analysis of supply chain

Position Requirements:


* Proficient in MS Office including Access
* 2-3 years purchasing, Sales and Supply chain experience preferred
* Able to work onsite at any Ryerson facility in our Western Region
* Time management skills.
* Analytic skills including electronic data management
* Knowledge of SAP software a plus
* Metals experience a plus

Salary: $61,730.42-$77,163.03 annually starting salary higher than $61,730.42 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
