Accounting Manager (Reporting) Location: Tinton Falls, NJ Join Our Dynamic Finance Team! We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager (Reporting) to join our innovative and growing finance team. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, and collaborate with multiple departments. Key Responsibilities: Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and external reporting documentation Liaise with external auditors and legal teams to ensure timely submission of filings Prepare cash flow statements and conduct variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and compliance Supervise and develop team members Partner with finance leadership to drive process improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, FP&A, Global Commissions, and Tax Design and implement automated workflows using Alteryx Perform ad-hoc analyses and manage special projects focused on technology and systems Required Skills & Competencies: SEC reporting experience (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and disclosure reviews In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Excel, JIRA, Tableau, and Alteryx Familiarity with NetSuite or Oracle Cloud (a plus) Collaborative mindset with a focus on process improvements Qualifications: CPA or similar certification required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities Big 4 or equivalent public accounting firm experience (an advantage) Familiarity with capitalized software and commission-related accounting (preferred) What We Offer: Opportunity to join a dynamic and growing finance team Collaborative and supportive work environment Professional development and growth opportunities Competitive compensation and benefits package Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
