Work Schedule:

50% FTE, day shift. You will work full clinic days at 3 clinic locations: UW Health Junction Road Clinic, UW Health Union Corners, UW Health 20 S. Park Street. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay: A competitive starting pay based on relevant work experience. You may be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking an Ultrasonographer, OB/Gyn to:



  • Conduct a variety of routine exams and procedures in an Ob/Gyn ambulatory clinic setting.
  • Perform ultrasound imaging including pelvic, obstetrics and guided procedures, endometrial biopsies, sonohysterograms and IUD placements or removals.
  • Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, and adolescent age groups.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for the UW School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and participate in the instruction of UW Ob/Gyn residents.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • 2 years of clinical experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Upon Hire Required
  • RVT credential, if not already acquired, or Minimum Qualifications Substitute (MQS) if in OBGYN department within 30 months Required
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT Preferred
