Postdoctoral Research Associate

The Department of Mathematics of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ( UNC-CH) invites applications for a Departmental Postdoctoral position in applied mathematics, broadly construed. Applicants are requested to submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a publication list, list of references and a research statement that mentions specific possible collaborations with CCIAM faculty. Departmental postdocs are expected to teach 3 courses per year, but also have extensive opportunities to pursue an individual research program. Applied mathematics at UNC-CH is characterized by strong interdisciplinary collaborations spanning the physical, biological, biomedical, pharmaceutical, social and data sciences. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a related field is required at the time of appointment.
