About Ameren Services (B&CS) Ameren Services provides administrative support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Ameren Services includes a wide range of skill sets and roles, from finance and legal experts to digital and cyber specialists, plus those charged with ensuring environmental compliance and operational safety. Together, we help execute a strategy that enables Ameren to deliver superior long-term value to customers, shareholders and the environment. About The Position The Auditor II works closely with all levels of management to perform audits of the Company's operations and projects, focusing on those that support strategic initiatives and business plans. The Auditor assesses the effectiveness of business processes and internal controls associated with the company's key business programs, corporate governance, risk management, and business planning. Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications- Auditor II Bachelor's degree (preferably) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or business-related field) from an accredited college or university required. Advanced college degree preferred. One or more years of relevant experience in external or internal auditing required. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and/or business risk assessment in a regulated environment preferred. Experience with data analytics and/or automation preferred. Public accounting or audit experience preferred. Qualifications- Senior Auditor Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, computer Science, Engineering, or business-related field. Advanced college degree preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience in external or internal auditing, IT related field, project management (e.g., scheduling or controls), or engineering required. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and/or business risk assessment preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, PMP, or similar certification OR the ability to meet the certification requirement within twenty-four (24) months is required. Proficiency in internal auditing professional standards preferred. Additional Information Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $69,300.00 - $140,900.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
