Job Description: RN ER I

We are looking for highly organized, compassionate candidates to work as ER nurses. ER nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained, among other duties.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to medical emergencies, providing first-line care and treatment.
• Assist doctors in emergency medical procedures and ensure high standards of care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Valid NY nursing license.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including one day and one night shift, with starts between 7 am and 9 am every other weekend.
• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in emergency or critical care settings is preferred.
