Position Overview: The Team Coordinator for Supply Chain with Sentara reports to the Supply Chain Manager of the applicable hospital and oversees daily operational activities of supply chain associates in areas of inventory management and receiving. The TC will represent Supply Chain with the respective hospital leadership in conjunction and in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager. Trains, coaches, mentors and supervises all Supply Chain Associates. Creates and maintains a work schedule for Supply Chain Associates that ensures hospital needs are met as it related to the distribution of products managed under Supply Chain. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Assist in the training and development of a highly motivated team that work efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers. The Team Coordinator acts as department lead when necessary and achieves system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives. Supports and communicates Sentara mission, values, and goals. Education Required: HS - High School Grad or Equivalent BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree preferred Experience Required: 5 years of Supply Chain Management 3 years of Supervisory experience preferred Skills Preferred: Active Listening, Communication, Coordination, Critical Thinking, Judgement and Decision Making, Leadership, Mathematics, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Monitoring, Reading Comprehension, Service Orientation, Social Perceptiveness, Speaking, Technology/Computer, Time Management, Troubleshooting, Writing, and Active Learning.
