This position will be the finance leader for both a manufacturing plant in Halifax, PA where high-end wood, pellet and gas home heating stoves are produced, as well as a cast iron foundry in Randolph, VT.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic finance leader to serve as a key business partner to the plant leadership teams. In this critical role, you will provide insight and guidance to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and profitability. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the sites, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Role Responsibilities
  • Serve as financial leader and advisor to plant leadership teams across both sites.
  • Develop and deliver budgets, analysis, insights and reporting to drive decision-making.
  • Oversee cost and accounting processes, including inventory, asset management, standard cost updates and variance analysis.
  • Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency across both sites.
  • Partner with Cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute capital investment projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and SOX regulations.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field and Minimum 5 years' experience in various aspects of finance and accounting (budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, auditing, general ledger, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated expertise in financial management and cost accounting.
  • Must have management experience with strong leadership, coaching, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
