You Are:

As a Financial Planning Director, you are a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth through informed financial planning and analysis. You possess a strong foundation in finance and accounting, coupled with a proven track record of supporting and scaling major functions or business units efficiently. You are adept at managing a team and excel in communicating complex financial data to non-finance leaders. You have extensive experience with financial systems, including Anaplan and SAP, and demonstrate strong proficiency with Excel. Your ability to influence strategic investment decisions and contribute to digital transformation initiatives sets you apart. You are comfortable engaging with all levels of leadership and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serving as a strategic finance partner to the Go-To-Market (GTM) and General & Administrative (G&A) leadership and their teams to influence long-range and annual plans, strategic initiatives, and capital investments.
  • Managing, forecasting, and reporting on recurring costs, investments, and expected returns.
  • Driving ad hoc projects to support leadership on key business decisions, preparing presentations, and providing recommendations to management.
  • Contributing to digital transformation within your team and across the SG&A functions.
  • Leading a team of analysts and indirect resources to accomplish responsibilities and build team capabilities.
  • Ensuring accurate budget development and financial analysis to support business results.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree / MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in supporting and scaling major functions or business units efficiently.
  • Strong financial and operational planning and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, including Anaplan and SAP, and strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

This team is dedicated to providing decision-making support, developing accurate budgets and forecasts, and supplying financial analysis on business results. Together, you will influence strategic investment decisions and drive initiatives that enable Synopsys to scale efficiently.
