Job Description
Job Purpose As part of the enterprise Zone Technical Execution (ZTE) organization, the Capital Engineering team plans and delivers new and renovated systems and capital assets at internal manufacturing sites and operating units (OPUs) across the North American zone. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering & Capital Execution, the Engineering & Portfolio Management Lead is responsible for strongly establishing linkages with Manufacturing Pod Leads, Plant Operations, and North American Technical Services Engineering Teams, Research and Development, Business Development, Quality, ORM, Finance and Supplier Relationship with Procurement. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring assigned plants engineering and technical staff in all aspects of capital project management and plant engineering. You need to be experienced in the areas of influencing and working across the organization. You will participate in cross functional Peer Reviews for major Capital projects (>$1MM) within the North American zone portfolio across more than 30 sites in the US and Canada, to ensure projects are right-sized and fit-for-purpose. Ensure that future Maintenance and Growth capital projects are clearly defined and included in Strategic Plans, Master Plans and AOP. Work Environment & Schedule This position is considered a Field based environment; role requires frequent travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc. Additionally, this role requires willingness to travel to locations outside of home state for extended periods (up to 25%) as needed and the demonstrated ability to work remotely with little supervision. Location(s)Chicago/Aon Center, Escalon, HPC - Jacksonville Factory, HPC - Mason Factory, Muscatine Factory, Quality Chef - Cedar Rapids Base Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $166,700.00 Target Total Cash Range: $200,100.00 - $250,050.00 Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.
