NetApp Emerging Talent - Information Technology

As an IT employee, you would participate in planning, development, verification, troubleshooting and delivery of a system or major subsystems. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy and driven to produce results.

Being part of or Information Technology group, you will work closely with a team that supports and enhances NetApp's world-wide business processes and systems.Our NetApp Emerging Talent roles differs depending on the team and scope of work but some potential areas of focus and skill sets are-

IT Systems:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with IT systems (applications, servers, networking, etc) or IT practices (operations, change control, release management)
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical team members to support deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize these in a customer-facing environment.
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Sense of urgency and determination to complete work

Analytics/Data Science:

• Creative and analytical approach to problem solving
• Project experience in data analysis, statistical modeling and hypothesis testing
• Working knowledge of one or more statistical analysistools orlanguages& relatedlibraries/packages: R(preferred),Python(preferred),SPSS, SAS, etc.
• Knowledgeand applicationofconcepts important inMachine Learning: e.g., cross-validation, regularization, bootstrapping, etc.

This position typically requires a Bachelors degree and 2 years of relevant work experience, a masters degree with no relevant experience, OR 6 years of industry relevant experience without a formal degree.
