Lead Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of Rehabilitation Therapy Clinical Manager(s) and Rehab Operations Supervisor assumes the responsibility for evaluating patients and developing an effective occupational therapy program based upon Occupational assessment, sound judgment and psychological sensitivity. In collaboration with management provides clinic oversight regarding daily staffing needs, new employee orientation, staff competencies and in-services. Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, entry level Master degree in OT or entry level Doctorate.
• Vermont State License or eligibility required.
• CPR Certification Preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
3 to 5 years clinical experience. Three to six months to be proficient in all phases of assigned duties.
