Description Provide High-Level Process and Technical Support to Manufacturing Team Provide support for Process Improvement Supports in Launch Process Readiness Supports in Equipment Build and Design HOURS: Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am Demonstrates SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers. Supports and repair the test equipment on the production floor. Ability to troubleshoot electronic PCBs and assemblies and recommend design changes. Performs preventative maintenance on test equipment. Tracks daily repairs and downtime of production test equipment. Maintains a safe test / work environment by enforcing and complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and industry standards. Ability to assemble prototype circuit boards and assemblies. Assures test readiness and customer satisfaction by reviewing current test equipment/facilities against current and future test requirements and anticipates and communicates required improvements to team leader. May be asked to coordinate implementation of new equipment as appropriate. Interfaces with outside test equipment fabricators to provide scheduling and technical support for tests systems in progress. Able to learn LabVIEW for the purpose of updating production software. Able to learn Allen Bradley and Keyence Vision and Fanuc Robot Software Able to perform job consistently and without excessive absenteeism or tardiness. Other duties as assigned. Associate degree in Electronics Technology or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding of National Instruments Hardware and LabView Software Preferred Understanding of Allen Bradley, Keyence Vision and Fanuc Robot Software Preferred Three or more years of related electronics experience. Able to read and understand an electrical schematic. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment, including SMT circuitry. Excellent soldering skills. Proficiency of the basic Microsoft software packages including Word and Excel. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with people. General mechanical aptitude in a shop environment (hand tools, light duty power tools, calipers, etc.) beneficial. Computer operation Regular attendance Work cooperatively and professionally with others Able to lift up to 35 lbs. Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate, and/or reach throughout an entire shift. Must be able to accurately handle and assemble small parts. Light manufacturing environment Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting Required to work shift hours (four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days) with occasional overtime. |
