Essential Job Duties	The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in macroeconomics and international economics. Responsibilities include: Maintain a successful research agenda that produces publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals Be an effective teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels Participate in research with graduate students Supervise PhD dissertations Provide service to the department, college, and university Appointment expected to begin on August 16, 2025. Applicants should hold a PhD by that date.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Requires doctor's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Other Required Qualifications	Demonstrated ability to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels and potential to supervise Ph.D. dissertations, as well as maintain a successful research agenda that leads to publication in top economics journals. Applicants must have knowledge of the fields of macroeconomics and international economics.
Preferred Qualifications	Ideal candidates will be in the process of establishing a strong record of publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, with the potential to teach graduate and undergraduate courses and supervise graduate students.
