(Hiring 3 Leasing Support Specialist to report under each Operation Support Manager).

HOURS

Monday - Friday, some evenings and weekends.
Scheduled dates and hours subject to change at employer discretion

SUMMARY

The Leasing Support Specialist is a dynamic and flexible role designed to provide leasing support for a portfolio of multi-family properties. Ensures continuity in leasing operations, enhances property performance, and provides superior customer service to team members, prospects, and current residents. The Leasing Support Specialist will be assigned to work on-site to support properties with leasing challenges, prioritizing those not meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and/or properties with open leasing roles. Maintains exceptional sales conversion ratios and coaches, trains, and executes company leasing strategies. Champions company objectives in three key areas of people, profitability, and growth. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Leasing Operations:



  • Act as the primary leasing consultant at assigned properties, handling all leasing activities including showing apartments, processing applications, and conducting lease signings.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of prospect and resident activities, events, and interactions within CRM.
  • Follow up with prospective residents, ensuring a high level of customer service, communication, and engagement.
  • Researches and understands market competition.


Customer Service:



  • Provides exceptional service to prospective and current residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Fosters positive relationships with residents to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Effectively communicates with team management on daily happenings.


Property Performance



  • Assists in achieving property occupancy and leasing goals by implementing effective leasing strategies.
  • Works closely with the Property and/or Regional Manager, Operations Support Manager, and Leasing & Sales Manager to identify and address performance issues at assigned properties.
  • Contributes to the implementation of focus and marketing plans to improve performance.
  • Attends focus calls as needed or required to understand property challenges and assist in plans for improvement.


Flexibility, Adaptability, and Mobility:



  • Be prepared to travel to different properties within the assigned portfolio to provide leasing support as needed. Compensation for travel provided.
  • Adapt to varying property environments and team dynamics quickly and efficiently.
  • Willing to work varying schedules with possible evening or weekend hours to provide appropriate coverage of business hours.
  • Ability to manage varying tasks across multiple locations from any location including prospect follow up and communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:



  • BA or BS degree from a four-year college or university with focus in Real Estate, Sales, Marketing, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in multi-family leasing or operations, preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance in leasing.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.), Yardi experience preferred. Yardi CRM experience strongly preferred.


Skills and Abilities:



  • Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public.
  • Travel for this position is required, ranging up to 100% of the time. Travel is mostly local, but the position may require additional travel for training and seminars.
  • Decision-making, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously with self-direction.
  • Project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid state drivers' license and proof of insurance as travel between sites is required.


Physical Demands:

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed material and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in-person and over the telephone. Must be able to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions, including climbing stairs and walking the hallways and common areas.
