The Quality Control Inspector reports to the Quality Manager and oversees the inspection team supporting OMR products designed, produced, and installed by the Orlando Operations. The inspector will interpret specifications, determine testing procedures, and operate necessary equipment. This role requires reading dials or digital displays, comparing results to specifications, and recording test data. Collaboration with engineers, technicians, and production personnel is essential. The inspector must demonstrate the ability to perform dimensional checks and visual inspections of fabricated and machined parts, document non-conformance reports, and work independently with minimal supervision. Coordination with global inspection activities may be required. LOCATION * Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position. Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL * Perform inspections on materials, products, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Qualifications
REQUIRED * 3-5 years of experience or equivalent education and training. DESIRED * Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS * Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. REASONING ABILITY * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. COMPUTER SKILLS * To perform this job successfully, an individual should have complete knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PeopleSoft, Enovia, Google Apps and SmartSolve. Equal Opportunity Employer
