This full-time faculty position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Pain psychology faculty will work at the UCSF Center for Pain Medicine, which operates under the auspices of the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, Division of Pain Medicine. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to intake evaluations, assessments on appropriateness for neuromodulation, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy for patients with pain. Psychologists experienced in the treatment of adolescents and young adults with chronic pain are also encouraged to apply. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
