Quality Reporting Assistant (Staff Wage)

The Department of Neurosurgery seeks a part-time Quality Reporting Assistant, varying levels. This position supports neurosurgery clinical research on patient outcomes in initiatives to improve patient care quality. Hours are flexible 20-30 hours per week. Position can be performed mostly remote; however, there may be times when the position would have to report in-person.

Duties include:

• Abstracting medical information from patient records
• Interacting with patients to complete questionnaires
• Entering data in national database

Qualifications to be considered:

1. Senior Data Technician

• Education: High School Diploma. Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
• Experience: One year of relevant experience

2. Data Specialist

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: At least 4 year of experience

Anticipated Compensation: $18.00 -$32.00 per hour

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
