Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc.(HATCI) is looking for our next Information Technology Manager to plan for infrastructure growth, security enhancements, and disaster recovery. This opportunity is located at our Irvine, CA Location.

HATCI is a Hyundai Motor Group's American R&D company with multiple locations across the United States, including Ann Arbor (MI), Chino (CA), Irvine (CA), Mojave (CA) and San Jose (CA). The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the California region. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the IT department.



  • Oversee and manage the performance of external desktop support vendors.
  • Ensure vendors meet SLAs and provide high-quality support services.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of vendor performance.
  • Resolve escalated issues with vendors and ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees on the use of hardware, software, and IT policies.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and documentation for common IT tasks and procedures.
  • Monitor and track all support requests in the IT helpdesk system.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues by vendors.
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on IT projects, including hardware upgrades, software implementations, and network improvements.
  • Coordinate project tasks with external vendors to ensure project goals are met.

Required Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant Certifications
  • Less then 5 years of experience in IT support or IT vendor management.
