Associate Lecturer, Marriage and Family Therapy

The Psychology Department at Curry College invites applications for part-time faculty members to teach within the Master of Family Therapy (MFT) program, beginning in mid-October 2024. Courses are scheduled in the evenings and are designed for working professionals pursuing advanced education in Family Therapy.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
  • A minimum of a master's degree from a discipline with content relevant to Family Therapy
  • Professional experience in the field of Family Therapy or related areas (e.g., Marriage Counseling, Systems Theory, or Clinical Psychology with a family focus).
  • Experience teaching graduate-level courses, particularly in Family Therapy or related disciplines.
  • A commitment to student success, supporting diverse populations of students.
  • Familiarity with technology-enhanced instruction (e.g., multimedia methods, online learning platforms), or a willingness to learn these skills.

Preferred qualifications include a terminal degree, licensure in Family Therapy (LMFT) or related fields, and experience working in clinical settings. This position offers opportunities to teach in future semesters based on program needs.
