Job Summary

Support governance and executive functions of the organization to include meetings & event logistics and information coordination to the Board of Directors, the Senior Executive Team, The Board of Trustees, and other corporate and regional support as required.

Primary Duties

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Responsible for preparing for shipment or destroying classified waste to include sheets of plastics or Mylar film; film scrap; typewriter ribbons; lithographic (map) paper; CDs; DVDs; hard drives; circuit boards; and various types of paper materials.

  • Prepares receipts, and reports concerning materials collected, shipped, and recycled.

  • Manage relationship and communication with equipment companies to ensure accurate and timely procurement of all materials, degausser, SSD destructor, compactor and similar destruction equipment.

  • Operate large capacity industrial machinery such as paper shredders, paper/cardboard baler, paper/CD/DVD/hard drive destructor/disintegrators, degausser, SSD destructor, compactor and similar destruction equipment.

  • May assist in separating collected recyclable materials into established categories such as aluminum, glass, high grade white paper, corrugated paper, and toner cartridges and preparing separated recyclables for shipment to the appropriate local recycler vendor.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory tracking and reporting of Microsoft licensing. Create a clean, safe, and efficient organization of equipment within the warehouse.

  • Ensure proper re-packing of equipment to be sent to customers.

  • Manage scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments of equipment and materials, while keeping management informed with effective communication.

  • Accurately track all incoming and outgoing inventory.

  • Collect and sort recyclable construction materials, such as concrete, drywall, plastics, or wood, into containers.

  • Clean, inspect, or lubricate recyclable collection equipment or perform routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment.

  • Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place materials on conveyor belts.

  • Potential to work nights and weekends, including overtime.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High School diploma or state certified equivalent required.

  • 1-2 years of direct experience required.

  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.

  • Ability to obtain a Class B CDL preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to work with people internally and externally at all levels of an organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to become familiar with corporate specific programs and software.

  • Knowledge of electric pallet jack and forklifts.

  • Provide excellent customers service with vendors.

The employee may occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
