Job Description:


Summary

The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in the analysis, design, and development of systems in assigned area(s). Works independently and as a member of a team to analyze business processes, identify organizational information needs, and design solutions to meet those needs. This role will be involved in new requirements and providing ongoing support and enhancement of key technologies as well as offering insights, suggesting improvements, and working towards the broader digital transformation objectives of the organization. Partners with the business and IT to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of cost-effective technology solutions while focusing on business systems analysis and project management in assigned area(s).

Essential Functions

* Study business functions and gather relevant information to identify system requirements and document business needs.

* Partner with business to identify challenges and system gaps; make recommendations on business system solutions, or process changes.

* Improve existing integrations, systems and/or processes by assessing the current environment and recommending alternative, feasible, scalable solutions.

* Support existing system(s) implementation, coordinate upgrades, and manage application enhancements.

* Support and lead projects; including creating or following project-phase plans and implementation schedules, attending meetings, and escalating issues to IT management as needed.

* Test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptance.

* Acts as a liaison between the business and the various IT resources.

* Writes and maintains documentation for users.

* Support the configuration of purchased software systems based on user requirements; articulate the capabilities and limitations to users.

* Translates business data from multiple systems into a consolidated format for use in decision-making.

* Proactively monitors, identifies, documents, tracks and resolves ongoing day-to-day business issues pertaining to system functionality.

* Provide training and support to end-users on new and existing systems and integrations

* Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

* Responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable policies. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate.

* Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of IT and/or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of IT and/or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

* Application of SQL skills in a work environment

* Skilled in MS Word and PowerPoint at the basic level; skilled in MS Excel at the intermediate level.

* Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Preferred Qualifications

All Area's of the Business:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or Computer Engineering.

* Master's in Computer Science or Information Systems.

* 4 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

* Intermediate ability with Structured Query Language (SQL).

* Experience with JSON, REST APIs and tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

* Proficient with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP).

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience documenting requirements using formal modeling tools like UML, flow charts, sequence diagrams or informal modeling tools like Figma.

* Skilled at gathering requirements and eliciting feedback via stakeholder analysis, developing use cases and building mockups or prototypes.

* Demonstrated project management skills and experience using project management tools like Jira or Jama Connect.

* Experience with business process reengineering, lean, or six sigma.

* Knowledgeable of various systems architectures including, cloud computing, client-server, web-based, and service oriented such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Heroku experience.

* Knowledge of relational database design fundamentals.

* Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

* Ability to resolve conflict and manage customer expectations.

* Experience with TCP/IP networks, including firewalls, VPCs and DNS.

If Supporting Logistics:

* Experience with or knowledge of transportation and/or warehousing systems such as Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), or Softeon.

* Knowledgeable of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) document trading principles.

* Experience with or knowledge of shipment visibility principles or platforms, to include but not limited to Fourkites.

* Experience with reporting tools such as Oracle BI publisher or MicroStrategy.

If Supporting Manufacturing:

* Experience developing requirements and testing integrations between COTs systems using middleware tools such as Mulesoft or Dell Boomi.

* Proficient with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), specifically SAP and/or EPS Radius.

* Basic understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems in a packaging and print environment, specifically Sepasoft, AutoCount 4D

* Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management Systems, specifically AutoDesk PLM360.

* Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems concepts, Industry 4.0, ISA 95, IIOT.

* Ability to translate manufacturing processes into clear system requirements.

If Supporting Customer Experience Systems:

* Salesforce Administrator certification with comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce systems, applications, and the Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).

* Experience in working with and managing React-based web applications, particularly customer portals, is highly desirable.

* Experience with Web Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Cloud).

* Experience with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) applications such as SecureAuth.

Compensation



  1. Hiring Hourly Rate: $35.43 - $44.28.
  2. Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
