JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for market strategy, insights and voice of the customer and oversight of product marketing - a new leadership role within the marketing organization. This leader will be responsible for driving market insights throughout the company, developing a voice of the customer function, owning competitive and market intelligence, driving effective product marketing and messaging, establishing the company's differentiated positioning, driving forward market-focused initiatives and owning customer marketing to drive retention and reduce churn. This role will ensure that the customer is always at the center of every decision we make.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and run a voice of the customer initiative, working closely with Services and Support and Customer Success, to ensure our key strategic customers have a voice and we act upon their feedback
  • Partner effectively across the organization to advance the highest priority market insights initiatives, working collaboratively with Customer Success, Sales, Services and Support, Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, Product, Engineering, Strategy and our two joint venture partners: Henry Schein Dental and Internet Brands
  • Create and manage the voice of the customer dashboard, making strategic recommendations for the company on where to focus
  • Drive all messaging and assets to support demand generation, field enablement, and customer marketing activity
  • Develop a best-in-class competitive and market intelligence function that informs executives and key teams
  • Create go-to-market programs for new offerings and market segments
  • Develop product messaging to be used across all media and customer engagement channels
  • Empower sales to communicate our products effectively to prospective customers
  • Lead global cross-functional launch and release marketing initiatives
  • Partner closely with product and market strategy to gain a deep understanding of product vision, upcoming functionality, and determine how best to communicate this externally
  • Determine key market investment and analysis areas to enable future company growth
  • Develop and grow a customer marketing function to drive customer retention and reduce churn
  • Ensure company is a thought leader in the industry - through market surveys, segmentation and other data-focused initiatives
  • Build ROI tools, executive business reviews and other strategic tools to enable commercial function
  • Partner alongside CMO on planning and prioritizing of key strategic initiatives for marketing and for overall company
  • Communicate strategy and positioning to the company and ensure consistency and understanding
  • Build a dynamic team that serves to inform the entire company on what's next and where we should go


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:



  • 15+ years of running market strategy, product marketing or management consulting experience, with increasing levels of leadership
  • BA; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Deep healthcare and SaaS experience
  • Passion for transformation - you're building a new department with an opportunity to make it a critical function within the company
  • Deep experience effectively collaborating, partnering with and influencing all levels of the organization
