Shift:Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm with possible extended hours and occasional call Compensation: * Base Pay Range: $35.28 - $57.60/hour, based on experience * Retention Rewards: Up to $15,000 o Relocation Support: Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away o Retention Reward (Option 1): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000 o Student Loan Repayment (Option 2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000 o Note: Details will be provided during the HR interview. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Follow the prescription and assure that patients receive correct treatment.Prepare or set up treatment field and deliver the treatment. Observe and/or photograph patients for response and reaction to radiation or symptoms indicating change in the disease process and reporting abnormal changes to physician. Obtain and record machine quality assurance data. Calculate and verify dosages to be administered to all patients; perform computer dosimetry. Schedule supportive procedures under direction of medical physicist. Perform simulation or port imaging procedures with necessary film set up and film development. Document treatment in patient chart. Build molds, casts, or lead field limiting devices as required. Act as clinical instructor for student radiologic technologists. Ensure necessary information is available prior to treating a patient, e.g., a prescription, a patient's consent, checking of calculations. May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
