Your responsibilities:
- Assemble products following work instructions and drawings; identify and rework mating parts when needed.
- Prepare production materials, including instruction sheets, drawings, components, shipping containers, and hardware.
- Set up fixtures and perform mechanical, electrical, and leak tests; wire switchgear switches using electrical drawings.
- Troubleshoot and record test results, ensuring accurate documentation and calibration of equipment/instrumentation.
- Use computers for programming fault interrupters and control boxes, and to retrieve work instructions and product drawings.
- Maintain production records, uphold KBM data integrity, and complete associated documentation accurately.
- Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, pack according to bill of materials, audit shipments, and perform other assigned duties.
Your background
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of manufacturing experience in a hands-on environment.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude, including blueprint reading, organization, and interpersonal communication.
- Skilled with hand and power tools; knowledge of multimeters and continuity testers is preferred.
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs and perform repetitive operations, including pulling and pushing.
- Capable of standing for 8 hours daily and comfortable with bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Experience with heavy equipment and working in non-climate controlled settings
