The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Standardized Patient (Per-Diem) to join our team of professionals. Duties include: Memorizes a case script detailing specific emotions, behaviors, and disease signs/symptoms for presentation during simulated learning situations. Provides constructive feedback to students using their patient perspective and life experiences. Provides educationally constructive verbal feedback during the debriefing and conclusion, providing their patient perspective and life experiences. Maintains confidentiality of information related to cases, student behaviors and feedback evaluations. Follows written and verbal instruction provided by the Standardized Patient Educator, Faculty and Simulation Center Staff members. Drives to and from area hospitals within their work schedule as needed. Performs related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. Job Category
