1. Develops and maintains good working relationships with other members of PES Team, staff members of other departments in the organization and members of the community agencies and department collaterals.
2. Demonstrates ability to formulate diagnostic impressions based on DSM V criteria, assess for risk to harm self or others and for risk of being the victim of abuse or neglect as defined by the State of Massachusetts protective agencies.
3. Demonstrates knowledge and use of "best practice" techniques and considers input, feedback and concerns of the patient's natural support systems in making determinations for appropriate levels of care.
4. Records clinical information in the required format that is consistent with professional standards, Joint Commission, DMH and DPH.
5. Treats patients, family members, co-workers and collaterals with respect regardless of personal bias.

II. Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. Master's Degree in social work, mental health or other related field
Preferred:

2.License in the behavioral health field

Experience/Skills:
Required:
1.Minimum two years of experience in the behavioral health field

Scheduled shift is Monday mornings 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility for optional additional shifts offered based on staff callouts or other coverage needs.

Position is 100% on-site at two different emergency departments located in Southbridge and Webster, and requires flexibility to work at to either site or travel between sites based on the needs of the service. Driver's license and reliable motor vehicle transportation are a must.
