I. Major Responsibilities:

1. Greet clients
2. Perform check-in and check-out with clients, including verifying insurance eligibility, entering information on lapsed insurance/new insurance, collecting co-pays and balances due and providing receipts, submitting cash sheets, updating client, demographics, notifying staff that client is checked in
3. Schedule client appointments
4. Enter and make changes to staff schedules
5. Complete administrative intake with clients, including providing intake packets to clients and collecting completed forms
6. Answer calls and emails and respond to messages
7. Complete referrals to specialists
8. Complete daily reminder calls
9. Complete prior authorizations
10. Complete PTI's

Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities:

1. Complies with established division and program policies, procedures, and objectives.
2. Attends variety of meetings, conferences, and trainings as required or directed.
3. Demonstrates use of quality improvement in daily operations.
4. Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
5. Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
6. Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
7. Maintains confidentiality.

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:
Required:

1. Grade C02: Senior Receptionist: Minimum of a high school diploma/GED/HiSet.

Preferred:
1. Grade C02: Senior Receptionist: Associate's degree

Experience/Skills:
Required:

1. Advanced computer skills.
2. Ability to multitask.
3. Ability to use office equipment, including copy machines, computers, printers, telephones and four drawer vertical filing cabinets.
4. Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines.
5. Must be able to pass a CORI background check.

Preferred:

1. Two (2) years of experience.
