JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The laboratory of Huanyu "Larry" Cheng in The Penn State Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics (ESM) is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to perform research in wearable devices. The Cheng Lab focuses on the design, manufacturing, and application of standalone stretchable device platforms. This position involves the design, fabrication, and application of skin-like wearable electronics and degradable sensors for biomedicine. Responsibilities for this position also include, but are not limited to, supervising graduate students and co-authoring journal articles. The Postdoctoral Scholar must have a Ph.D. in a related field by the start date, as well as proven independent and collaborative research experience. A strong background and publication record in the design and fabrication of wearable devices with an emphasis on biomedical applications is preferred.
