Teaching obligations are three courses yearly and will include two sections of an interdisciplinary introductory survey and a smaller thematic course.
The Associate is expected to participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars sponsored by CLAS and help organize events in their field. Applicants who have not completed their Ph.D. at the time of application will need to provide official verification of completion by July 1, 2024. The appointment will be effective September 1, 2024. The Associate will receive an annual salary of no less than $61,805 and Rutgers University health benefits. The CLAS has over 60 faculty affiliates across Rutgers' three campuses and organizes a rich program of events. Further information about the CLAS can be found on our website ( CLAS.Rutgers.edu). Questions should be addressed to Professor Aldo Lauria Santiago at LatinAmericanStudies@lcs.rutgers.edu.
