Job Description

We are seeking a Top Level Program Managerto join our teaminSan Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:




  • Leads overall planning, execution, and management of the contract.



  • The PM shall be responsible for program performance, resource management, reporting and reviews, and serve as the primary interface with the Government.



  • Ensure deliverables are provided to the Government within the required timeframes and at the approved quality as identified in this contract.



  • In addition to the PM functions, the PM is part of the final and critical process of managing, closing out, and the distribution of requirements.



  • Provide management oversight of architecture and engineering contractors, construction contractors and related consultants and suppliers for projects to include cost, schedule, and day-to-day project oversight.



  • Lead in the design process to ensure the design meets the intended goals of the project.



  • Lead and conduct scheduled meetings to review project status and develop punch lists.



  • Performcustomer support activities involving the installation, modification, and upgrades to facilities.



  • Develop, prepare, and/or recommendschematics, designs, specifications, drawings. and material/parts lists.



  • Oversee on-site installation facility upgrades of equipment and follows established testing procedures to ensure proper working order.



  • Developschedules and assigns tasking to meet various projects.



  • Ensuremaintenance contracts for services are fulfilled and that appropriate documentation and records are kept.



  • Interface and facilitate working groups for project requirements.



  • Draftplanning cost estimates and programming data in support of facilities missions.



  • Other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in related field, or 10 of minimum 15 years of experience was gained because of in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in the related field.


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Experience:



  • Minimum 15 years' experience in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.
  • Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in communicating, interacting, and working among Senior Executive Service and Flag level personnel.
  • May work from any location but must have the ability to travel to various TYCOM locations to meet with Senior Task Managers.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Correspondence Management, Editing, and Training tasks required by this contract in order to train their contractor team on how to perform the contract requirements.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate with other Government and Contractor engineers


Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Salary information below is a general guide only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations.

Salary Range:$110,000 - $130,000
