OUR IMPACT PSI sits within the Americas Financing Group in the Investment Banking Division. PSI provides debt underwriting and advisory services for not-for-profit hospital and healthcare organizations, state and local governmental entities, higher education organizations, public power and utility systems, transportation and mass transit agencies, sports franchises and other public projects. The group focuses on origination, structuring and execution of a variety of debt, derivative, advisory, and public-private partnership transactions across the U.S. The multi-functional group combines client coverage with product expertise, capital markets expertise, credit analysis and deal execution. Our offices are headquartered in New York City, with regional offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Dallas. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL Vice Presidents in PSI play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, leading our advisory and financing teams, and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Responsibilities
- Lead the structuring and execution of advisory transactions and bond financings in the not-for-profit healthcare sector
- Assist and lead client coverage, origination, and transaction idea generation
- Coordinate transaction due diligence workstreams, including interactions with independent consultants, external counsel, and other third parties
- Manage the preparation of client pitches, rating agency presentations, and marketing materials and supervise the preparation of financial models for various asset classes to evaluate capital structure alternatives
- Manage the drafting of internal transaction approval memos, and coordinate with credit risk and other control functions throughout the approval and execution processes
- Train and mentor associates and analysts
Qualifications
- Investment banking, public finance or equivalent experience in the Healthcare sector
- Master's Degree and 4+ years of investment banking experience; OR Bachelor*s degree and 7+ years of investment banking or equivalent experience
- Experience with executing financing and advisory transactions, conducting due diligence, preparing marketing materials and RFPs
- Strong quantitative and technical abilities, including advanced financial modelling capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, negotiation, client-relationship building, analytical and credit skills
- Experience in leading deal teams of analysts and associates
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
