GI Lab Technician

Provides assistance to the physician & direct care to the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. Also, performs delegated unit tasks as assigned by the Registered Nurse.

REQUIRED

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience as a GI Lab Technician.
2. Additional clinical specialty certifications in specific units including Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Patient Care Technician, Certified Surgical Technologist, Certified GI Tech.
3. Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.
