The LPN for the Pediatric Ambulatory Service participates in performance improvement/research activities; maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills.The LPNProvides direct care for a specific patient population,administers medications and treatments,provides patient & family teaching and discharge instructions. The LPN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.He/she is committed to maintaining the standards of the practice of nursing and is responsible for the delivery of care to the patients within their scope of practice.
