Position Overview

As the Program Chair overseeing the program you'll have an impact on building a solid nursing program that successfully prepares our students for robust careers. You will have the opportunity to mentor and inspire faculty and be hands-on with graduate Nursing students. You will have oversight and collaboration for working with the team on clinical experiences, student opportunities, programmatic evaluation and lead programmatic management as well. This may include data collection, analysis and reporting, and continuous improvement in the program.

Requirements:

  • An MSN with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related healthcare field
  • An Adult Gerontology Primary Care or FNP Certification AND Adult Gerontology Acute Care Certification
  • Wisconsin or Compact RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of online nursing education experience

While not required, the following are preferred

  • Previous program chair and teaching experience in a graduate nursing program
  • Experience with programmatic accreditation
  • Experience with Canvas as a learning management system
