Vantive: A New Company Built On Our Legacy

Baxter is on a journey to separate our ~$5B Kidney Care segment into a standalone company. Vantive* will build on our nearly 70-year legacy in acute therapies and home and in-center dialysis to provide best-in-class care to the people we serve. We believe Vantive will not only build our leadership in the kidney care space, it will also offer meaningful work to those who join us.

At Vantive, you will become part of a community of people who are focused, courageous and don't settle for the mediocre. Each of us are driven to help improve patients' lives worldwide. Join us as we revolutionize kidney care and other vital organ support.

*Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Leveraging your strong technical background in chemistry, chemical engineering, and/or environmental engineering and with a proven track record in designing and implementing water purification systems using the latest technologies, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead/Contribute design and development of water purification system for purifying water for dialysis (WFD).
  • Contribute to research and development efforts to design, prototype, and demonstrate feasibility of new water purification technologies for medical applications.
  • Conduct detailed technical analyses and feasibility studies to evaluate different water treatment technologies and system configurations.
  • Bring rigorous critical thinking to ensure that key "killer" questions are addressed early in exploratory and design phases through best-in-class application of modeling, analysis, and empirical methods.
  • Perform process simulations and modeling to optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials, components, and equipment for water treatment systems based on performance requirements and budget constraints.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source components and equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
