This job performs paralegal and administrative duties in connection with litigation involvement and cooperation by Ochsner employees, including scheduling, facilitating, and in conjunction with Physician Accounting, invoicing, the litigation appearances requested by Ochsner employed providers. Attorneys external to, and not engaged by Ochsner, representing either plaintiffs or defendants in civil or criminal litigation periodically call upon Ochsner providers to participate in litigation matters. The Litigation Support Office acts as a representative of Ochsner to provide a seamless and efficient process for litigation participation. The mission of this office is to support our providers as professionals with special training and expertise to meet their ethical obligation of assisting with the administration of justice. This role collaborates with other office employees and identifies areas of legal learning and sharing of knowledge. Education Required -High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience Required -1 yearof legal experience under the supervision of attorneys. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience in a legal environment and familiarity with legal procedures and terminology will assist a candidate in being prioritized. A quick learner who is willing to master these procedures and open to training is also a plus.
