What you'll do:




  • Develop reporting and analyses to measure health plan trends and performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop analyses aimed at identifying key performance drivers.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure knowledge sharing of best technical and analytic practices.
  • Serves as a go-to for leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization to craft creative analytic approaches to practical business issues.
  • Lead development and production of cost, revenue, and utilization reporting, incorporating both internal and external benchmarks.
  • Manage the needs of various stakeholders in projects. This would include designing communication processes, project timelines and formal presentations.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis for business units throughout the organization.
  • Serve as the organizational subject matter expert for financial, statistical and data science concepts as well as an extensive knowledge of statistical software (R, python, SAS, Stata, Git) and relational database software (SQL/MS SQL Server, MySQL, Jupyter)
  • Lead the development of business strategy, combining technical expertise with real-world business considerations to make strategic recommendations to business leaders
  • Lead communication and reporting with ability to explain complicated technical concepts to business leaders and key stakeholders
  • Direct people management experience in a small team setting preferred. Strong project management and informal mentoring relationships are required.



What you bring:




  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare


    • Experience with analysis of healthcare claims data.
    • Financial/accounting and statistical concepts.


  • Master's degree or professional designation in Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical subject.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information relevant to a project to senior management
  • Requires knowledge of health care analytics, financial, statistical and data science concepts, as well as an extensive knowledge of SQL, Tableau and Power BI a plus.

Salary Range: Minimum 43.50 per hour - Maximum 67.57 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
