Description

The Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) team at Wilmington Air Park takes great pride ensuring the safety of our aircrews and air park employees. The ARFF department is under new leadership.

Duties:

The ARFF Specialist will ensure that emergency equipment is continuously maintained in a high state of readiness; provide currency training as necessary; provides rapid response to aircraft and other emergencies; provides first aid to victims as necessary. Performs other duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:




  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Posses a valid drivers license
  • Certified EMR
  • Certified Ohio Firefighter I or II
  • Ability to complete the ARFF certification course
  • Able to work in adverse outdoor weather conditions
  • Wear respirator safety equipment as indicated


Preferred Skills:




  • 1 year experience responding to medical and fire emergencies
