Our laboratory focuses on developing precision medicine approaches to improve treatment of inflammatory skin disease (e.g. https://directorsblog.nih.gov/tag/rashx/). We study human and mouse model inflammatory skin diseases on the single-cell level (single cell RNA-sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and highly multiplexed immunofluorescence) to further molecular classification and treatment response prediction. The ideal candidate would have at least a B.A./B.S. degree with a strong immunology background and be independent and self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. We expect the appointee to participate in and receive authorship in scientific articles and to contribute to the intellectual environment of the laboratory, in addition to supporting and managing the lab. He/she must be able to plan, conduct, and oversee experiments, independently develop and optimize experimental protocols, and interpret data and results. Required Qualifications:
