The Department of OB/GYN and Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Colorado is recruiting for a faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or above. Key Responsibilities:
- surgical/medical management of gynecologic malignancies
- teaching of medical students/residents/fellows
- outpatient care of women with cancer
- administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: There are several factors that will impact the rank including previous or current rank, years of experience, etc. Determination of rank is done based on the interview of the individual candidate. Associate Professor:
- Candidates must be board eligible (scheduled to get certified for recent fellowship graduates) in both Obstetrics/Gynecology as well as Gynecologic Oncology through the American Board of OB/GYN (ABOG) and must be able to obtain licensure in Colorado.
Professor:
- Candidates must be board eligible (scheduled to get certified for recent fellowship graduates) in both Obstetrics/Gynecology as well as Gynecologic Oncology through the American Board of OB/GYN (ABOG) and must be able to obtain licensure in Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of experience in Gynecologic Oncology
- Successful applicants should be able to develop strong relationships with community physicians in the greater Denver Metro area and the greater Colorado region.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of hospital policies, practices and protocols as well as applicable regulations and guidelines. Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
- Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision-making.
- Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public.
- Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic)

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Associate Professor: $286,242 to $350,270 Professor: $353,471 to $416,406 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
