Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Regional Proximity Manager.
*Lead a team of proximity agents with a direct hands-on approach, provides motivation and coaching to help team reach daily, weekly and monthly goals.
*Recruits, hires, trains proximity agents through cost-effective recruiting tools including partnering with temporary agencies when appropriate.
*Oversees all proximity marketing field activities, including training, role playing, daily meetings, field supervision and motivating team members.
*Create and develop the culture of the local proximity team, through personal role modeling desired behaviors and techniques.
*Monitors and coaches every team member to ensure they are following proper procedures, scripts and customer service guidelines.
*In partnership with Marketing leadership team & Regional Canvass Manger, budget with sole purpose of generating qualified leads and appointments through proximity efforts.
*Administrative tasks include: coordinating proximity logistics with mapping and tracking, permit logistics, script and flyer maintenance, organizing field lead sheets, verifying/validating leads gathered during each shift.
*Provides timely tracking and entering of marketing data into corporate database.
*Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person on neighborhoods and cities where our products and services can be demonstrated with the intent of generating qualified leads and appointments.
Secondary Duties
*Coordinates with Regional Canvass Manager to assist with local implementation and tracking of other corporate marketing initiatives.
*Performs other related duties, as assigned.
*Executes projects based on business need as assigned.
*Establish positive community relations through involvement in community organizations.
*Requires weekend work.
*Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to self-manage resources (time and budget) to achieve objectives.
*Ability to analyze effectiveness of proximity program and proximity team.
*Ability to understand the role of marketing communications, sales promotion and advertising.
*Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
*Demonstrated analytic skills
*Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
