Buyer II

Responsible for the activities associated with supplier management, purchasing execution, material replenishment, and supply continuity. Integrates the links between Purchasing, Suppliers, and Internal Stakeholders to ensure material availability and operational execution.

1. Executes day-to-day supply flow and replenishment activities reliably, including purchase order management, blanket order releases, shortage resolution, expediting, supplier returns, and inventory replenishment activities.
2. Manages vendor scorecards and operational supplier relationships, including supplier communications, purchase order follow-up, delivery commitments, and resolution of routine supplier performance issues.
3. Executes within established inventory and planning models by reviewing demand signals, supporting material availability, and maintaining inventory levels in accordance with established replenishment strategies.
4. Coordinates operational execution across Planning, Customer Experience, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Receiving, and Accounting to ensure continuity of supply and timely resolution of material-related issues.
5. Maintains accurate purchasing/planning data within business systems and follows established purchasing policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
6. Resolves routine operational issues independently, including shortages, supplier delivery concerns, invoice discrepancies, receiving discrepancies, and material availability issues, escalating significant risks when appropriate.
7. Serves as an experienced individual contributor by applying purchasing, supply management, and replenishment expertise to support departmental and operational objectives.
8. Supports execution of supply chain strategy through effective purchasing execution, supplier coordination, material availability management, and adherence to established supply chain processes and policies.
9. Maintains the confidentiality of all information processed.

While performing the duties of this job, the environment is general office work and the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, see, sit and use hands.

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years or more of Purchasing experience. Knowledge of Supply Management, Materials Resources Planning concepts and Material Replenishment processes. Knowledge of Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED: NAPM or APICS certification. Familiarity with JDEdwards Business Systems SalesForce and Google Suite. Post degree experience in a Purchasing, Materials, or Operations / relevant environment. Knowledge of Supply Management, Materials Resources Planning concepts and Material Replenishment processes.

Compensation:The pay range for this position is $61,099.58 to $84,020.04 a year. May increase depending on the level of experience of the candidate.
