Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Senior Microsoft SQL Server Database Lead to provide advanced technical expertise and leadership in support of a large government agency. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of missioncritical database environments hosted on both AWS EC2 and Amazon RDS. The Senior DBA will serve as a technical leader within the team, provide mentorship to junior staff, consultations with customer stakeholders (application teams, partners, end users, ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, and support the program's operational, performance, and availability objectives. Location: Remote Shift Schedule: 8am - 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). This position will participate in 24x7 on-call rotations for the production environment. What You Will do:
Lead the planning, installation, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft SQL Server environments in AWS cloud-hosted infrastructures.

Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
