Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Primary Skill: Webservice testing, SOA testing Secondary: DB testing Experience: Minimum 7 years Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced SOA Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Web Services Testing, API Testing, SOA architecture, and Database Validation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of enterprise applications. Experience in Banking and Financial Services domains is preferred. Key Responsibilities * Validate SOAP and RESTful web services using industry-standard tools. * Design, develop, and execute test cases for SOA-based applications. * Perform API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. * Validate XML, JSON, WSDL, XSD, and service contracts. * Execute database testing using SQL queries and validate data integrity across systems. * Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios. * Perform backend testing and data reconciliation between source and target systems. * Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools. * Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues. * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. * Prepare test reports, status updates, and metrics.
