Job Description: Phlebotomist Location: Bear Creek - Ashland Duration- 3 Months Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with every other Friday off Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team at the Bear Creek - Ashland location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws, processing specimens, and entering patient demographic information accurately. This role requires previous phlebotomy experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a busy client office. Key Responsibilities Perform blood draws and collect specimens from patients. Process and prepare specimens according to established procedures. Enter and maintain accurate patient demographic information in the system. Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow established protocols for specimen collection and processing. Manage daily responsibilities independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Required Qualifications Previous phlebotomy experience is required. High School Diploma or GED. Demonstrated ability to perform blood draws and specimen processing. Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills. Ability to work independently in a busy clinical office environment. Ability to stand frequently while performing blood draws and processing specimens. Work Environment Busy client office setting. Expected to perform up to 30 blood draws per day. Works independently without a dedicated team at the location. Approximately two weeks of initial training will be provided. Additional Information Contract assignment with potential for extension and possible conversion to a permanent Labcorp position. One phone-screen interview is expected. Candidates should be available to start as soon as possible.
