Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual external financial statements and related disclosures.
• Prepare supporting schedules, work papers, and analyses in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
• Assist with external audits and quarterly reviews by responding to auditor requests and preparing support.
• Coordinate information requests with external auditors, financial institutions, and other business partners.
• Research accounting guidance and assist in evaluating the accounting treatment of transactions.
• Support compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable accounting guidance.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This position is primarily sedentary and involves extended periods of computer use, including keyboarding and viewing a screen. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, reach, or lift and move office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.

The role is performed in a typical office environment with standard lighting and noise levels. Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of accounting reporting experience - preferred public accounting experience.
• Ability to identify and analyze accounting and financial reporting questions and develop solutions responsive to those questions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
• Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities with some supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner.
• Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
• Midstream reporting knowledge.
• Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
  Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  Preferred: Strong working knowledge of SAP software.

Education Requirements, Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a concentration in accounting.
• Strongly preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or working toward a CPA license.
